SIP PANELS HOUSE PLUS
In a nutshell, our Component Package includes our comprehensive design services plus the custom fabricated, insulated, exterior shell of the home. Our Component Package is a kit of materials, services, and systems that address the most critical aspects of a custom home. The underpinnings of our systems-based approach is our Component Package. At Sunlight Homes, we have created a systems-based approach, refined over many years, that is structured to carefully address this first fifteen percent in order to ensure the most consistent and predictable end result. These initial conditions will define the project, and if they are structured correctly, the entire process will run more smoothly and the end result will be a higher quality product. W Edwards Deming, father of Total Quality Management (TQM), popularized the notion that success or failure of a project or process is largely determined by decisions made in the first fifteen percent of that project.
SIP PANELS HOUSE FULL
The thermal efficiency and waterproofing properties of our structural foam core are the highest available allowing for thinner, stronger wall construction with full vapor barrier which still achieves the same overall finished thickness of wall.A high performance, green, custom home involves many different systems and components that must work together in order for the final result to be a success.

Ideal for Granny Flats, Tiny Homes, Cabins, Container Homes and even Floating Homes! ( view our latest floating home project HERE).
SIP PANELS HOUSE SKIN
Our panels are lightweight yet strong which also provide the perfect solution for the modular home industry where there is currently very little, if any, viable options available for single skin Sip’s panel wall systems. Our system allows for fast efficient build times with a fully watertight shell within days, so you can move straight onto internal fit out works. SiPclad® panels are all delivered pre-finished and easily connected using our patent pending corner joining detail including any service conduits for electrical and plumbing needs. Further to this your building would also need a waterproof membrane wrap to protect the external skin, as well as internal wall lining (such as plasterboard).

In a standard house building scenario the SIP’s panels would provide the internal wall structure and insulation, however, these walls still require an external protective & decorative skin such as cladding(and battens). With this rigid insulation core SIP’s panels share the same structural properties as an I-Beam or I-column with the benefit of an insulated vapor barrier, allowing exceptional thermal performance all year round in any climate. The core is most commonly expanded(EPS) or extruded polystyrene(XPS) foam, or in our case polyurethane foam(PU). The outer layers could be sheet metal, plywood, cement board, magnesium oxide or oriented strand board(OSB). A SIP’s panel, also know as a Sandwich panel generally consists of an insulating layer of rigid core foam sandwiched between two layers of structural board and used widely as a home building material.
